Of course I can do user flows and testing, but it’s not about ticking boxes. It’s about creating an experience that works for real people, and the business I'm working with.
I don’t like unnecessary noise. Overcomplicated processes and products that make people think twice frustrate me. My previous bosses often praised me for one thing: cutting through the clutter and turning long debates into designs that just work.
I focus on MVPs and testing the core idea before spending months polishing the wrong thing. I build solid design practices, rules and principles that give teams the freedom to be creative, fast and effective.
Everyone wants to be the next Monzo. Everyone wants to be as seamless as Uber.
The question is, are we designing in a way that actually gets us there?
I don't believe you need a huge budget to do good design. A whole load of self belief, focus and the drive to do the best work you can is what matters.
And that's what I promise to bring.
I understand that every business is different
Having worked with small startups and large organisations alike, I know that every company operates in its own way and what works for one team will not always work for another.
I also understand that one company's Agile looks different to another company's Agile.
I tailor my approach to fit the unique needs and culture of each organisation I work with, and I will always be realistic about what is possible.
